Smart Mail (Lite)

SmartMail is a Windows hosted TCP/IP based Internet Email application, that requires only that you have a connection to the Internet (fixed or dialup) or a company Intranet/Network.

SmartMail is a professionally developed, fully integrated multiple user, multiple mail account software package that provides all the facilities you will ever need for handling Internet/Intranet Mail. The only other software you require is your preferred TCP/IP Winsock stack, such as Windows 95 Dial-Up Networking, Trumpet, Distinct or Chameleon.

If you require them, you can use any suitable third party FTP, Telnet or WWW browser package. The packages can be easily configured to run these external applications from it's own button bar(s), and automatically check for configured applications under 32 bit environments when installed.

The Evaluation and Registered versions provide comprehensive internal support for you to use PGP data encryption, double click hot links to your Web browser for http:// and ftp:// addresses and much much more....

SmartMail will run on any version of Windows from 3xx, thru Windows 95 to Window NT4. IBM OS/2 is also supported. It requires a minimum of a i486 processor, 4Mb+ of free memory, 640 x 480 resolution screen and at least 10 MB of free disk space after installation. Better specification machines are of course recommended. For best performance, use 800 x 600 resolution or better, with 256 colors, and a 586/66 processor or better.
